I'm sure everyone here does it, hopefully it's something you like.
The question is, is it in stereo? (if the source was in stereo of course.)

Procol Harum Live with the Edmonton Symphony gets a lot of headplay.

Haven't thought about stereo or mono.. don;t really care. I consider it a gift that I can almost play entire symphonic pieces in my mind like I was sitting at the orchestra. I can hear it better in my mind than I can hum it.

I have a vivid imagination.
Dean.
reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
...my imagination isn't quite so vivid as it once was.
Perfectly too. As soon as I am awake enough to wonder about it, the music stops.
I can have a tune and words to a song floating in my head, in normal waking life, but they are weak and imperfect. And the more I focus on them the worse they get.
Today I've got a marching band going through my head from the pep rally last night. AWSOME!!!
How about some air drums too?
YAY!!!

Many tweaks, though. A head full of brilliant pebbles, but I love my setup.
Saves a lot of money when you can just imagine those pebbles instead of having to buy them.

tactile experience. You haven't lived until you've played with and placed crystals (or BP) in the right
place and heard the very real and noticeable effect they have on the listening
experience.Plus they are kinda pretty.

Never noticed if it's in stereo, the nymphos dancing around to the music keep distracting me.
when I can hear the music in my honey's mind...
...but I have control of the multi-track tapes and all the effects racks (as well as the final mastering)!!!

It's always something I like.... I even listen in my head to symphonies, how I would have interpreted them.......
"The question is, is it in stereo? (if the source was in stereo of course.)"
Not really.... I try to recreate how I heard a particular concert, for example, but no matter how I try, it's a lot worse than even a cheap table radio.................

Observe, before you think. Think before you open your yap. Act on the basis of experience.
It is not in stereo. There is no imaging. There is no sound stage. There is no separation. There is no "space". There is no "PRaT". The blacks are not black. The highs are not sweet. The mids are not recessed, nor forward. The bass is not tight.
It's just wonderful, wonderful music.
I got a whole symphony in there but I wish Kristin Kreuk would stop interrupting the music by walking by and dropping her pen. Jeez Kristin!! I'm trying to pay attention to the song.
But it's pretty cool to hear Johnny Cash sing "Sweet Child o' Mine." Seriously I could charge admission for what's going in here.
Oops someone mentioned Star Trek and that darn Picard flute song will pop in my head for hours.
When I have old. pre stereo Duke Ellington tunes going through me head they are well beyond that, beyond quad, beyond holographic, beyond any limitations having to do with ears or silly definitions. They just ARE.
This one has been really floating around my brain lately, even though it's in stereo and has nada to do with DE.
