I arranged a tour of Richardson Electronics for the audio society here, witnessing the manufacture of all kinds of tubes at their plant in the far western suburbs of Chicago, as they had reintroduced Amperex 'Bugle Boy' audio tubes -- they had even purchased the original aging racks.To say it was interesting is an understatement.
