Hi and thanks a lot for your valuable advice
After the discussion i am not so sure that the test actually correlates well with sound quality
I guess it tells something about the "dynamic" abilities of the speaker/driver under test
But reading around i have come to the conclusion that some kind of distortion measurement is THE test that is more likely to be correlate with the actual sound quality of a speaker
So i think that good sound could imply low distortion
This is also important i think.
I am always more interested in objective test than subjective.
Usually i like what people like.
Thanks again.
Kind regards,

Hello,
It's more the avg of all test results than picking anyone in particular, i do believe a good SW response tells alot , not the whole story...

Hi and thanks again
+1 for the SW response test then !
And after ? which do you think could be another "telling" test for sound quality test ?
In my ideal world you put on a cd with a series of well designed signals you measure the response and at the end you get a rating of the sound quality of a speaker
I like so much things when they are objectives. Very much.
Thanks again.
Kind regards,
