I like the Civil Wars version quite a bit... it's my first time hearing it, and I think it's very artistic. Here's an instrumental version of Thriller

...than anything MJ ever did. Although that isn't saying much.
I had the fortune of being in 8th grade, when San Francisco's own Romeo Void came out with the killer "A Girl In Trouble (Is A Temporary Thing)."
One afternoon, while coming home from school, I had my trusty Walkman with me. As I was walking down Webster, past Bush, maybe it was KITS, which played "A Girl In Trouble (Is A Temporary Thing)." I simply could not get enough of this song!
Shortly thereafter, on a Friday after school, instead of using my pocket change on candy, I took it to Rainbow Records, then located on Stanyan and Geary. I bought the 7" 45rpm single of "A Girl In Trouble (Is A Temporary Thing)."
I'm happy to report that my kids love this song. They educate their classmates, about this local musical morsel.
