I am certain a visual inspection would see that it radiates quality and craftsmanship, after all it is designed and made in the People's Republic of China!

I love opening these things up and seeing no parts on the board where the noise filtering for these noisy pieces of junk are supposed to go.

One thing is for sure: it's ergonomics will be crap.
OTOH, some Seiki items have been available in Canada for years (they don't meet the stricter copyright/HDCP/etc. laws in the U.S.) and they look kind of crappy but actually work pretty well. Good for the $$, but not necessarily "good" in the big scheme of things. They never have firmware updates, and there is no service. Even the specs are dubious, when available. Functional and disposable, which hardly makes them even the slightest bit unique these days...
