Have you seen the measurements of the SH 833?
I would not call a FR of +- 10dB coloured, I'd call it totally unusable.
Neither could I ever accept >5% THD at 1W (50Hz), 3rd order harmonics at 1.25% and 5th at 0.1%.
With my current system I can hear added THD down to <0.5% and that is limited by the speakers as my amps are a few orders of magnitude better than that WAVAC PoS.
That thing is not an amp, it would however work as a very, very expensive distortion pedal for heavy metal guitarists.
I can just hope that jnr's EC300B is a lot better than that (haven't seen measurements for that one) but that would not be hard to do. You could just throw components in a bucket, solder them together randomly and you're bound to end up with something better performing.

If so, I'm wondering why you employ an equalizer and mixer (dunno what you do with the mixer).
Hard to imagine that all the electronics in those things results in good sound in home systems. Are you a professional sound guy?
The mixer is no more. I used it as a pre when I was still using vinyl. It was a rather expensive item (about £3000) made for the BBC. I bought a spare unit when they went all digital.
The equalizer replicates the original passive crossovers transfer function. Luckily without putting any nasty inductors in the signal path.
My amps are completely uncoloured. As it happens they have been co-designed/voiced by the guy who started E.A.R. with Tim de Paravicini. The other guy involved was Terry Clarke who previously founded Klark Teknik who in turn were famous for producing the most transparent audio gear available. Just not power amps until Clarke and Ian McCarthy founded MC2.
The one I use for bass came out of Abbey Roads Mastering Suite before they got paid to use lesser (albeit more expensive) Classé amps.
I've measured my system and it is +-2dB from 25-20 000Hz at my listening position.
Overall THD (including speakers) must be below 0.5% as I can fairly easily hear added distortion down to -46dB (ca 0.5%) using the Klippel test.
The end result is realistic enough that when I play songs with a ringing telephone in it people always think it is the real thing and remind me to answer it.
"My amps are completely uncoloured."
LOL!! IF that were true, and it isn't, they would be the ONLY amps in the world that can make that claim. As soon as an individual makes that claim about any of their components I know they are full of BS.
Your idea of neutral and uncolored is probably just shades of grey.
"As it happens they have been co-designed/voiced"
LOL!!! So, are they "uncolored" or "voiced", which implies tuning to the ear of the designer and therefore by definition "colored".
"who in turn were famous for producing the most transparent audio gear available. "
Famous in what circles and who has crowned them the most transparent gear available?? You?
"I've measured my system and it is +-2dB from 25-20 000Hz at my listening position.

All completely irrelevant to good sound.
I have had amps with really low distortion and digital equalized my system to +- 1db in-room and it until I got really good amps it didn't matter. With poor sounding (but good measuring) amps the sound was flat, grey and lacking "spark".
