Human bellyfat can be deleterious to good sonics. Headfat too. The person sitting in the chair has a lot to do with the sonic outcome.

Act chew ally it's the water in the body that's the big problem. That's why the best sound is always when no one is in the room. And why a lot of people think the sound is really good when they're listening from the next room. "Honey, the system sounds really good. Have you done anything to the system?"

Hey, thanks!
I've always thought that the system sounded better after I return from the bathroom, thanks for quantifying that emotion.
Guess that puts Me out, I am on dialysis................
Dialysis, too, 5 years now.
Don't notice any change post treatment ( max weight gain has been 5.5 kGm, though average is much lower).
Sorry to hear that Uncle, I jus started using the home machine about 2 weeks ago. It at least gave Me some hours back after back to back gravity method.
Isnt it amazing that before 1975 it was a death sentence.
The conservative Tea Party reformers wanted to eliminate the Federal subsidy for Dialysis and substitute hospice care, or so one proposal made about a year ago to reduce the Federal budget. Talk about death squads !!!!
Unfortunately I don't have the space to lease a home dialysis machine, but good for you. It is a terrible nuisance, time wise, but, hey, death is even worse....
Take care and hope you do well...
Thanx Unk You too.
And you know this, how?
My system sounds better from the other room too, until I actually get into my perfect position in front of my speakers. If I stand in the room it's not too good, better out, but great at the tip of my listening triangle.

Listening from the next room can sound better if the ratio of direct to reflected sound changes for the better, as you move out of the main room. But, whad'da you know? Body water could be the real culprit...

I've found that the optimum number of guests in my own listening room is two. With me, that makes three (if my math is correct). Any more than three, and the sound starts getting noticeably duller. I haven't yet tried replacing those other two people with actual tube traps, but it's probably worth doing, if I could figure out where to put them. Would look sorta silly just sitting on the sofa next to me.
