I like the extension tweeter of course but I want to see if I can put the video in the post.

Beautiful speaker. Thanks! for sharing.
Classic Audio Reproductions Hartsfields were the hit of the Mid West Audio Fest. John Wolff had them effortlessly playing Metal guitar at a steady 100dB, in a large room, with 8 Watt Lamm mono blocks.
Altec 19s are good but the Hartsfields are in another league.
John Wolff also built a field coil driver speaker system out of the JBL 2435HPL compression drivers which he turned into a field coil and he took the JBL woofers and turned them into field coils as well. These speakers sounded like the Quad ESLs on steroids..That was the comment of many at the AK fest as well..

I've been a fan of the Classic Audio Loudspeakers for a long time (I have T-3.3s), but it was at this last RMAF that the Hartsfield Reproductions really showed their mettle. Imaging, delicacy, impact was spectacular- ESLs on steroids indeed!
Wow!
Who would have suspected that JBL Hartfields sound EXACTLY like the ADS L400s I use in my office to listen to YouTube videos? You just saved me many many thousands of dollars, Mike.
That'll knock some dust off your diaphragms, all right.
Great video Michael! It sounded great even from my cheap headphones on my laptop. Where did you find it?
You tube just searching around.
