...I stand up, rarely sit, pacing back & forth whilst listening.

That's interesting. I'll bet you are deeply focused to do that and get [spiritual] enjoyment out of it. Such an intense listening style is probably hypnotic, with deep answers for problem solving.

... However I don’t have a spiritual fibre in my body unless you count single malt.
I am often intense but relaxed when I listen but the problem with that is I am not lost in the music but lost in whatever it is I am contemplating. (Often things like estoppel, trusts & taxation)
I sleep well so it must be good :)

... Usually some poor unsuspecting bar steward!
Speaking of which, it has well and truly struck six and I am still dry. Heaven forefend, I must be ill.

All of my serious listening (which is to vinyl) is conducted sitting down ... yes, mainly at night but also the occasional weekend afternoon. :-))
But FM is on all the time I am at home (when I'm not listening to vinyl - background listening) ... so while listening to this, I will be doing all manner of things.
Regards from south of the border. :-))

... Except for hayfever; they are little white pills :)
It is rare for me to have the radio on even in a vehicle.
I listened to music last night with my wife. She sat down on a lounge chair and I stood up. The listening session started at about 1:15 am & went through to about 3:30am.
Earlier in the evening we had gone out for cocktails, dinner & a show.
Enjoy your music and polishing your chair!

A show? ... now, I know you must be on the Gold Coast! :-))
Having recently moved to a rental in Toorak, we went out for our first meal in "the village". :-)) Japanese place - really great food, a flask of sake, an NZ sauv blanc and a couple of glasses of Barossa shiraz.
But we were in bed by 11:30pm. :-))
Regards,
Andy
... Goldie is less than a one Moet trip in the limo :)
Toorak? You might even run into Uncle Solly in Toorak!
I don’t think my attire would gain me an invite to such a venerable postcode. I get away with it in Sydney and on the Gold Coast I'm just run-of-the-mill in attire :p
It is good to see you seem to always enjoy a great mix of plonk.
Mate, at 11:30pm the night is just a pup :)
I still can’t get over Toorak! Us white shoe brigade would never dare make an appearance.
Enjoy your evening Andy.

As I said, it's just a temporary stay! :-)) Compared to Greville Street, Prahran (our domicile for 25 years) ... it's boring suburbia.
Regards,
Andy
All serious listening is at night, I just can't get in the mood to really listen during the day.
