When you box stuff, package it carefully, then pack THAT box into a bigger box with at least 2" preferably 3" of a medium density foam material on all six sides of the box. Such a box can take a 30 foot drop... (not with a big amp....) and is somewhat immune to vibrations.
If I was gonna move, it is how I would pack the electronics and analog stuff.
Most towns have a foam dealer. (really) and ask to have some sheets of medium density cut to 3" thick rolls
Or see what it looks and feels like, it may be ok with 2" or 2 1/2" What you want is: squeeze it with your fingers, it should give easy at first, but to squeeze it flat between two fingers is hard to do.
If you can squeeze it flat without effort it is too soft. If it is hard to do after a half inch it is too firm

Follow Ups:
I've received and shipped some pretty heavy stuff, UPS and FedEx -VAC amps - VAC ships them in dense foam, packed in such a manner that nothing can shift around - at least two inches of foam - more in some places - depending on shapes - they put the tubes in the center, with layers of foam around all sides - and they can't shift, packed like this in one box -
Then that box is placed in another box that has styrofoam inserts - you could simply have 2.00 inches of peanuts all around - six sides - so that the inner box is protected by approx 2 inches of peanuts on each sideWorked fine on a VAC 30/30 (70 plus pounds), Fla to SC - then two years later SCS to Canada.
No clue on the TT
