I'm looking for a seperate AM/FM digital tuner for my NAD 3155 Integrated amp. I'm mainly looking for brands to watch. As far as price range goes, I'm looking for the stuff that goes for under $20.00 on eBay.IBSmiester
PS: The reason I don't want an anologe tuner is that they're too big, I'm looking for something shorter than 4 inches.

I currently am watching the following items on eBay:
-Yamaha T-60 Natural Sound Tuner
-NAD 4125
-Denon TU 767
-Technics ST-Z780
-Dynatuner FM-1
and
-Nikko Gamma 1They all range from $1.00 to $20.00, and was wondering which one was the best sounding tuner.

You're going to be hard-pressed to find anything that cheap. Figure at least $50 with shipping! Here's one example of what you you can get for around $20; the final price will probably be closer to $30.

That Sansui seller has quite a moniker. I've got an idea how its pronounced, and its surely derived from a language unknown to me.
Also it is analog, and I think it may only be 4inches deep and like an inch tall. I'd say look for an 1980s analog tuner.

I bought a used Yamaha tuner on eBay (nice and thin) for about $20. There are lots available there. Are you gun shy about buying one on eBay?I bought my tube integrated and my tuner on eBay and am very happy with both.

i've scored several good cheap tuners at yard sales:pioneer tx5500ii - $10
jvc digital - $6
yamaha tx-1 only $50
4" high? FM only do? Heathkit AJ-14 transistor anologe measures 3 5/8" high (including feet and wood case- metal case is less) x 12 5/8" wide (metal case is less) x 9 1/4" deep. Manual for same includes no instruments required alignment procedure. It's a sleeper, so price is usually low. Got mine with Manual for $11, weight is under 5# so shiping will be low as well. 3-gang tuner, 4 dual-tuned IF stages, ratio detector, phase adj. multiplex. IOW, based on tube circuts = great sonics. It's my primary source, preferable to my Sony ST-5150 AM/FM stereo tuner.

are rather short in height, which may work for you.

I may be mis-understanding what your looking for here, but the shipping alone is probably going to run you more than 20 bucks.I think you can get a decent tuner though for under $200. I'd look for a used Marantz - They're good!
