I have pre-approved NINE FIGURE funding for construction of manufacturing and distribution facilities to operate in a free trade zone located in So. Nevada. We will also explore acquisitions of existing companies or any strategic alliances that make sense. I Need someone who is able to do a complete business plan with pro formas in exchange for stock options and/or other compensation. This could be big as we already have strategic alliances in the making and you can be a part of something really unique. We need someone very experienced in all of audio, especially in manufacturing, wholesaling etc. This can be HUGE for the right person........

i wrote a great plan some 10 years ago to my wife to allow me $1000 in audio fund.....

vivid2,That is funny......does your wife know my wife?? My wife is basically like most wives...interested in the bottom line. My wife is great at discerning and fortunately has allowed me to follow my dreams. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but unless I try I'll never know......
I wrote my own business plan and raised $1.1 million for my business. A far cry from the money you are talking, but either way, no plan - no money.I would highly recommend you write your own plan. You can't pay for the focus it will bring to your concept. And if you are the "big cheese" you're gonna need the focus!
But don't use one of the software programs like Business Plan Pro. Smart investors and lending institutions recognize them for what they are. It took me two years to complete my plan, but it has paid off better than I ever imagined.
You can have a plan written for about $5K, but for a project your size, it will probably be more like $20K if you want it done right (its a matter of scale). Pay for it up front if you can't write your own plan and be done with it. Remember, if you offer someone a small piece to write the plan, you may never be able to get rid of them. If they are smart, they will want a deal that will cost you a lot more than $20K to get rid of them if the business goes well.
But I am of the opinion if you can't write a first-class business plan yourself, then you probably can't run this business. Running the business will be a hundred times harder than writing a good busines plan (and writing a good plan certainly ain't easy, BTW)
I would also highly recommend that you have an attorney prepare a PPM to protect your A$$. Listen to me carefully, do not by-pass this step! It will cost you $30K minimum, probably $50k-100K for the money you are talking, but nothing will take it's place.
But if you are in a position to get a collateralized loan for $100,000,000 you should already know all of this and be giving the answers here instead of asking for HELP, HELP, HELP!
Mr Figures,
I've got $500 saved for a new wheelchair for my dad. If I give you this money will I get enough in return for one of those fancy "hov-arounds" instead?
Funny, funny.......although I wasn't seeking any money I guess people misunderstood my request for help. I have since hired an assistant for this project. Thanks for asking though......
you got $100+ Million in backing without a business plan.
...a fucking idiot.
I'll take a big mac with my fries........and a large coke
..that's all you can afford. But as a counterpoint to your underlying cluelessness I shouild inform you that you would have to be in a McDonalds for that clever retort to have any relevance. Oh, wait! You probably are! My mistake.
Late shift manager would be my guess....
Dear RamsJones,For your information our loan is fully collateralized and if you knew anything about finance no lender would allow you that credit line without having any credit worthiness. Was your comment in interest or are you just another naysayer? The business plan is not to secure the funding but as a roadmap for our new management team.
Best Regards,
No creditworthiness, no credit. That isn't exactly advanced finance. Here's another - no one backs you that strongly unless you know what the hell you're doing. Knowing that means analyzing your markets, your suppliers, products, processes, competitors, management team, labor pool, not to mention presenting it in an organized manner - sounds like a business plan.I'm not a naysayer, and frankly, would enjoy working on such a project. Call me a skeptic.
But you've found your assistant, so I wish you luck with your venture and let us know when you hit the market.

...you'd know that no lender offers $100,000,000 in backing to any start-up. In fact they typically don't loan to start-ups at all unless they are within a year of a liquidity event of unless there is a VC or major investor present to secure the loan. And anyway, if you had all this damn cash why would you be offering stock options for a business plan instead of the $5,000 to $10,000 it would cost you to pay someone to write one? That's chump change for someone with a hundred mil burning a hole in their pocket.
Joe-S,
Do you understand what collateralized means? How about the sentence and/or other financial considerations. By the way you do not qualify....
...you should get a brain.
Huh?
What do you manufacture???

We are a new start-up company that intends to manufacture everything related to audio. We also have a plan to j/v with existing tube manufacturing company and start producing our own line of high quality vacuum tubes to supply to all of the industry.

You plan to manufacture vacuum tubes?
I have all kinds of suggestions concerning what types would interest myself and others. Triodes, Hg diodes, etc. Do you plan to manufacture other related things as well?
Dave-A,That sounds good as I am all ears. I'll send an email with my coordinates and we can discuss all. Yes we also plan on manufacturing a full line up of high end gear. We also have intentions of acquiring some up and coming companies that are experiencing challenges as long as their product line fits into our purist approach and less is more philosophy.
Best Regards,
.
