      she was the finest lady you'd ever meet outside of our home...but when she hit the door of the house, she could tell some of the raunchiest jokes, and swear like a sailor.
      The "f" word was the only one she never used. When my sister got married, the two of them were carrying in the wedding cake to the place where the reception was held (this is farm country, you get a neighbor to make your wedding cake). My sister tripped and her hand went through the cake and she yelled, "F***!" and then looked up, expecting Mom to be mortified...she looked at my sister and said, "That's a perfectly appropriate time to use a word like that!"
      She was an incredible lady!
