I had an old analog tuner when I was back in high school (no high end stuff then, so I won't get you laughing at what brand it was). If you turned the tuning knob just enough at the end of the dail, it would pick up the audio for the CBC station in my area (Cable feed to the tuner and CBC was on channel 6!).
Weird but true!
Some days I miss the days of not knowing how things worked!
