I agree with the poster below regarding the Sansui 9900 and the Accuphase 100. The Accuphase, to me, is the better of the 2 units and they go for about the same money these days. Both are better than just about all the sub $1,000 new tuners these days and are comparable to the Magnum Dynalab FT-101 series.
