Hi AlexI must admit I'm very impressed with the Primare A30.1. I don't own it, but my local dealer carries Primare and I've listened to it driving a wide range of speakers, including several not exactly known for ease of drive (including Dynaudios; sorry - cannot remember which model). The amp consistently proves itself to be stable, powerful and devoid of any obvious sonic character; one of the very best integrateds I've come across. The build quality is also first rate. A friend of mine owns both this and the partnering D30.2 CD player, the latest version of which is also excellent.
As far as integrateds go, I believe you're well into £2k+ territory before you'll find anything substantially better.
I'm not qualified to comment on the Plinius as I've only listened to the (much bigger) pre/power combinations; SA-250 and the like.
Regards
John Carter
