This forum has some of the best, and most easily searchable, Dynaco-related archives on the web. A shame for it to go dormant - much worse if it ever goes away entirely, which I really hope never, ever happens.

I hope not, as well. There's a treasure trove of Dynaco information buried in the archives.
I've been copying and pasting what I think I might need into Word documents over the years, just in case.
For example, this is the only site I've found which explains why some of the pF caps on a MK-III board need to be rated at the 1000 V Dynaco used.
Everyone else says something like, "You could probably get away with..."
Joe, thanks for keeping the doors open, and Bill Thomas, RIP.
Man, you can say that again! I couldn't have said it better. Yes, Joe, please keep it open and, indeed, Bill Thomas rest in peace.
Not much going on in the DIY on any site. Dynaco is what it is and there is only so many times you can reinvent the wheel.
Beg to differ, as I see plenty of activity in two other DIY forums I frequent and I'm sure there is even more elsewhere. The Dynaco originals and their various offshoots remain very popular.
This forum was once a hub of activity and there is a wealth of valuable information in its archives. Hope the archives will stay here forever.
