What are the chances it's the same as a MKIII output? Higher output due higher B+. Color codes are typical Dynaco. Triode Electronics has dimensions of the xfmr on their website.

Yeah, the dimensions on these do not match anything Triode has. Nor does the wattage. Then there is the input impedance issue. It doesnt surprise me, being its not a "true" dynaco". The only think this has in common with Dynaco is the KT88s, LOL. I could fudge it and just slam two new transformers in but then at what cost...Sound? Early demise? Catastrophe? Screw it, not worth wasting $120 plus on a guess.

Perhaps better to put the money towards a new Dynaco amp, eh?
Yup. Not mine, repairing it for someone. I told the guy when I looked at it that it wasnt a real Dynaco and now confirmed it's a P.O.S. 3 grand boat anchor.

Panor?
Craig
Yes, Panor.

Back when Sound Values had the old Dyna parts inventory and was selling kits, they sometimes used Custom Coil to provide power transformers. (I bought a couple transformers from this company about 10 years ago, and they seem well made.) Custom Coil is still in business. I don't know if they do output transformers, but it's worth a call. (If you have the original bad part, maybe they can rewind it?)
Good luck!
Keep in mind, this is not a true Dynaco but hey, its worth a shot! Thanks.
Here's another one, recommended by Jim McShane over in the Vintage forum. I have not used them, but Jim is well respected, so they are definitely worth a call.
