With reference to the original PAS in its original configuration with the original selector switch, has anyone ever rewired / converted any or all of the low level inputs to high level inputs? I have thought of a way to possibly accomplish this but would like to hear if anyone else has done it.
Thanks!
Peter

Since our selector switch replacement does exactly that - if you download a copy of our selector switch installation instructions you should find how to do it there
Hi Joe. I actually purchased your selector switch and volume control a while back. My question here was about finding a way to convert the original Dynaco selector switch so that one or more of the low level inputs could be used for high level sources. I have been looking at the schematic and think I might have a way to do it, but I have not tested.
Thanks,
Peter
There is a book by Audio Dimensions that I have used called Tu Be or Not tu Be and in there it shows how to make the other inputs to high level. I have done it because it was part of a modification to the Pas.
Do you happen to remember any of the details?Looking at the circuit on PC6, it might be as simple as just bypassing the amplification stage by lifting the input to the tube and lifting the output from the stage and then connecting together what you lifted. Might have to re-route the ground, too.

Peter,
Try to get a copy of the book TuBe or Not TuBe. I got mine on Ebay a while back and it is very helpful with all types of modifications to Dynaco and other amps of the same style of the back in the day.
