Interesting thread. Thought you would all be interested in an SMR report of one of the sessions at Surround 2002. The session demonstrates that there do appear to be some high frequency anomalies in DSD:

where this article was discussed/argued to death. The "DVD-Audio technical consultant to Warner/Elektra/Atlantic" finds problems with DSD; not terribly surprising.
