audio too? My Sony S9000ES just gave up on me and I've been wanting a blu ray player too. Thought I'd get one that does well with 2 channel audio if there is such a thing. I'd like to stay under 300 bucks for now. Any help is greatly appreciated. Bobby

  If you can live w/o SACD Vizio is supposed to have a $200 player in a couple of mos.

      I'd assume it will play CDs and play the DVD-V compatible content of a DVD-A as any DVD-V player should. Here's an article. I guess it will be available in late July or August:

  Does very well with Red Book CD and as a transport. No slouch with SACD, DVD-Audio and HDCD either.
  I've had mine for 2 months and I use it in my 2 channel system. Makes for a music server too - just add an external hard drive and a monitor.

      Least expensive, and quite good, is the Oppo BDP-83. Nice player with HDMI, stereo analog, 7.1 multichannel analog, optical and coax outputs. And that's only for audio!

          Yes. Analog and digital (I'm not sure which you are looking for). It seems to have everything you can think of (including phantom center if needed).
