I've got that player, but don't have the brick set. When I first got it last year, it wouldn't play any dvd-a's, and they had to do a firmware upgrade. Call AudioPlusServices at (800)663-9352 or visit their website and e-mail them. They handle "in warranty period" service for Cambridge players. Simon there is very helpful.

Let me know what they tell you, as I've been thinking of picking up the brick and was unaware of any problems.

I'm sending the player back tomorrow morning. I got a great deal on a used Marantz 9500, and I'm going to be using that instead. Soon, "Remain in Light" will be blasting in full MLP 5.1 goodness.
