If you are going the Denon route.
It integrates well with the AVR5803 through the Denon Link. So you have a maximum of available connections for optimizing playback.DVD5910 is also an option if you wan't better build quality.
Both are new models that are supposed to become available soon.
Follow Ups:
denon is coming out with new models in the fall. if you're basically happy with the denon, the new models (or going one model up) might be the improvement you're looking for.

Where does the 5900 performance stand (compared to the 2900, 3910, and "what the future may hold") in terms of audio & video?
The 3910 has the same video chips as the 5900 but tweaked a little more....so really great video. And according to one person on AVS forum has better sound than the 2900...maybe close to 5900 quality. The 5900 will be replaced next spring? by the $2500 list 5910. The $1300 list 3910 seems (so far...very few have been sold...just a few days old) like a really great machine.

The DVD5900 betters the DVD2900 in both departments.Not heard/seen a DVD3910 yet.
