Obviously hi-rez, SACD and DVD-A is a niche market that won't bring in as much revenue as games sales or even custom home theater stuff. So it would not surprise me to see some of the stores do away with them. The available titles in those stores are pathetic as compared to what is online. When Best Buy has their 10% off coupons over the past couple of years, I have only managed to find one DVD-A of interest and about 10 SACDs. They bury some hybrids in the regular CD section at both stores. They certainly are not great proponents of the either format. When I ask employees about whether they're getting a recent release in, I have to explain to them what the formats are.
