Nice unit with lots of features (including HDCD) for $129.00. Hasn't missed a beat on anything I've thrown at it yet. Not sure how DVD-A could be classified as "dead" with lots of players coming out.

Sooner or later the issues hopefully will be straightened out with compatability for the 563A. I returned the one I bought even though I got it at Best Buy for $99 open box. Nice universal player for the dollar. I do believe Pioneer has a few other universals on the market but not sure about the compatability issues with those.
