Well. picked it up.....and it the DVD-audio track will not play on my Pioneer 563a. I can play the Dolby Digital track, but no go with the Hi-rez track.First I thought I might have had a wiring problem, but I have no problem playing other DVD-A discs. Using disc navigator, I can see the tracks (group 1). Also when I play the DVD-A track, if I hit display, it tells me its playing 96kHz 24bit 3/2.1ch, but all I hear is silence.
Follow Ups:
...Azur 540D. The only thing I can get to play is the bonus video. If I hit "play disc" the player seems to freeze like a computer. None of the buttons (even open door) work - I have to turn off & back on to even get the disc out!

I wanted to buy that disk to use on my 563. That's the second disk with T-Rex being the first.

Seems to be a incompatiblity problem with the Pioneer 563a

do you have the analog outs hooked up and is the digital out off? I have found that it is not necessary to have the digital out turned off but in this case it may help. As well, have you selected the proper DVD-A config and the PCM choices as well? It is funny it will not play, perhaps a disc problem. Just thought I would ask to see how you have the player configured.

Remember, I tested other DVD-A disc's. Listening to "Everything must Go" right now, only cables off player are the 5.1 analog. Made a point of disconnecting the coax digital. Either the disc is bad, or there is a incompatibility with my Pioneer player.
