I have heard other models in stores just becuase it's my interest. I was not in the purchasing mode so I really didn't pay attention as closley as I had when I made my purchase 3 years ago.

It seems to me that it is still one of the finer units out their. Internal guts, build, sound quality, video quality ect.

I was going to get the Dennon but it did not support HDCD as Toshiba did.

I am very, very happy with mine.
