  Maybe we should consider double-counts to boost our statistics (if we remember there are stereo/stereo+multichannel/stereo+multichannel+CD-layer/crack-proof/non-crack-proof versions of some SACD's) :)

  Beach Boys "Pet Sounds": PAL mix and NTSC mix
  Warner U.S.A. and Warner Europe releases, to be subdivided: with/without info grid

    701 according to HFR, and they're counting DualDiscs, samplers and test discs. So yes, we're over 700, but not by much. :-)

    How much do you know about that one? I see the label is "NMO (Alive)" - who/what are they? Also, the disc was produced at Galaxy, so did it come from a DSD source (shudder) or did the SACD start life as PCM?

      I think it is quite an ambitious project. José Carreras points out that he sings in a couple of Romance languages he actually speaks (a little bashing of his colleagues here who sing lyrics they do not even understand?) - French, Italian, Català,...

      The album's songs are arranged with soloists and orchestra plus choirs, most of them best described as a blend of traditional folk song, aria and symphonic music, but quite modern and also including synthesizer sounds.
