I suspect this is the primary competition for multichannel music. Hi-rez vs. DD/DTS probably does not mean much to the mass market.

Not sure I believe the statistics either which even if an accurate barometer of relative hi-rez success, may not be an indicator of things to come. The success (or lack thereof) of dualdiscs may make or break DVD-A. I also don't see a flood of Sony SACD titles which is bothersome.
