This appears to be based on a generic board sold under different names by different vendors. They can sound good if treated right.

You can buy various permutations on different websites. The cheapest option is to buy the board post free and mount and power it yourself.

True, but cost-effective value is still there with a finished product. The version I purchased is well-made, with as impressive build-quality as I could hope for at that price point. One of the things about buying direct from China that is cost-effective is the amount of labor involved per dollar spent as a buyer. Ordering an assembled unit can be a real bargain.
But you have to pay carriage and duty.
Being charged a duty fee may be the case in the UK, but I have not been charged duty in the US for any Asian purchase, and international DHL Express shipping while not inexpensive is not a deal breaker, IME.
