I've used the Linn Akurate DS and the Bryston BDP-2 streamers and both sound great. However, their control software are not exactly user-friendly and not always reliable.
I've now owned the Aurender N100H for about 1 week and this one is a keeper! It looks & sounds great and the Aurender Conductor control app (optimized for the Apple iPad) is extremely robust & reliable and an absolute joy to use.
Also, the N100H model comes with a built-in 2TB or 4TB hard drive (4TB HDD was just recently announced) and uses a 120GB solid state drive to cache the music to be played. You'll need a good quality DAC to do it justice. BTW, Aurender also makes a great DAC/amp combo. I'm using a McIntosh integrated with built-in DAC.
Checkout the streamers from Aurender!
