In Reply to: RE: Goldnote CD-1000 player. Anyone actually heard one? posted by audioman on January 29, 2016 at 14:58:58
Have you contacted the distributor (Tri-Cell Enterprises)to see if there is a stocking dealer near you.
When you get to this price point you need to hear it for yourself (you won't be sorry).

Thanks fellas. I am pretty convinced this player will do the job if I can find one!. They are new in Canada but apparently have been around in the Euro countries for a while. We miss a lot of the good stuff here..... Bummer
audioman-
what cd player did you purchase?
I finally found one dealer who brought one in and after a 2 hour listen of CD's and digital files I have used as a reference for years, there was absolutely nothing about the player/dac that did not sound anything less than outstanding. Is it the best? Thats a question that can never be answered in absolutes, but for the price, it sure made some so called reference players blush and was considerably less expensive and has better facilities. Ordered one up on the spot. Yes, it's that good :> )
I currently have the Goldnote CD-1000 on order with the upgraded built in volume control and analogue input. I have never taken a flyer on a piece of gear in my whole life, yet after contacting several European dealers of Goldnote for their input, I am convinced this will be the best cd player I have ever owned and quite possibly, better than many out there in the reference category.....
Goldnote/Bluenote out of Italy used to have a number of dealers in the USA.I believe Jim Ricketts in Southern Ohio was the last importer (The Music House?) Or send them an e-mail directly.Very helpful group and would probably be pleased that they are developing a new customer base in the states.
