Not the tonearm - I was told it's quite spectacular.
Comment I heard was this was a strong contender for best table < a grand.

Works great for me.
24/96 up to DSD 64, whatever suits you.
I've begun copying vinyl to DSD128 with my new TASCAM DA-3000. My Pass Labs X1 control preamplifier has a balanced tape loop and the TASCAM DA-3000 plugs right in. It also functions as an external DAC and it sounds as good as any DAC I've heard to date. It is quite a versatile component because it can playback digital files directly from a USB flash drive, too.
John, I currently record vinyl to 192/24 files using the following method:1) Vinyl to Phono Pre -> SUT -> Pre-AMP -> to Standalone CDR -> CD -> JRiver convert to *.WAV files -> Up Convert to 192/24 Flac using a program called Cirlinca.
I like everything that I've seen of the features of your Tascam DA-3000, but the price.
Would my method be greatly improved if I got a Tascam? Also, what media do you use SD or Compact Flash Card.
