In Reply to: RE: Is the Audio-gd Master 7 any good, if you can't use the ACSS out? posted by Jay Buridan on December 30, 2015 at 12:01:40
I am using the XLR outputs from the AGD Master 7. The BNC Digital input sounds better than the RCA input as the BNC input employed the TI DIR9001 while the RCA uesed the Wolfson WM8805.
The Master 7 worth every cent from its asking price.

That's my original question. Thanks...
The ACSS connection is only better or worse if you are using the Master 7 with other Audio-GD products. Its like the Naim stuff and there connectors ment only for there own equipment. You can't judge the ACSS connection independent of the limited equipment you can use with it

Price: USD2225 (Exclude shipping cost)
Link below: It has 8 PCM1704 chips at about $70 each but will not do DSD.
For internet streaming, Redbook CD playing or even downloading PCM up to 24/192 it would be VERY hard to beat IMNSHO.
If you want to hear what the 4 PCM1704 Master 11 sounds like, give me a shout off-line.
I paid with shipping $2400

I am using the I2S input from a Melodius USB converter. All I do, mostly is stream music
