Yes it will be!It Most likely will be hooked up to my Yamaha RX 500 U from 1989 -90 or my Yamaha CR 620 from 1977 -79!Right now I am thinking the RX 500 U which is in my Bedroom as I have a Yamaha CDC 605 changer that does not sound as good to my ears compared to my Magnavox CDB 473 on the CR 620! I even picked up another CDB 473 because I liked the way it sounded hooked up to the CR 620!Wanting to keep a Yamaha CD player with the RX 500 U I bought the Yamaha CD 1000 thinking it will sound as good if not better then the Magnavox's I have!I also have a CDB 500. What are your thought's on the Magnavox CD players that were made in the early 80's till about 1992?Every Magnavox I have seems to have no trouble playing any CD I put in Store bought or Burned from a Computer! They also load & track fairly fast for such old Machines! But even better is the fact that I like the way they sound!
Very nice! receivers.
My Sony ES 520 cd player lasted from 1986 to 2006 where the drawer was finally failing. I believe that the 80's cd players had a very distinctive
"sound". Certainly, it is not fair to compare vintage w/ state of the art spinners.
