I'm sure, if you whine loud enough they will make me take it down.
In the mean time, please don't buy an R2R Ladder DAC as the NOS chips are in short supply and I am still waiting to hear back from Qinghua at Audio-gd about my order
TIA :-)
Follow Ups:
You haven't figured it out yet have you?
With discreet dacs they are building the dac circuit from scratch, so they are not using a dac chip at all, which means they are not using up any of those precious ladder dac chips. Giddit?
I will have to wait to answer other posts till after work.

Big speakers and little amps blew my mind!
Please not that I have a clud and that I was replying to ahendler who specifically mentioned Metrum Dacs, Teradak Chamelion, Audio-gd 19 and Master 7.
Most of which do not do DSD?
As far as DACs which use discrete components, that's pretty much how it was done back in the 60's day when digital first arrived on the scene in areas like avionics where I worked as an engineering tech. (not a real engineer mind you, but a pretend engineer). :-)
I think in more interesting to look at what Peter Q. is doing at Audio Note UK where he is going so far as to develop and test his own resistors!

If you do have a clue, then I guess you are guilty of what carcass93 accuses you of; which is crashing peoples threads and posting inanities. Then to add insult to injury you clog up the same thread with annoying gifs.
I'm just thankful you changed your gif from the pow-pow-pow kittens to the typing pink cat. With your old gif I would scroll down the thread real fast, and if you had been posting it would be a psychedelic movie of pow pow pow kittys that would nearly send me into a grand mal seizure, and I'm not even an epileptic.
All this is not what I was looking for when I started the thread. Thanks for getting us off track.

You're welcome!
Ivan,
I am not joking about the near grand mal seizure thing. I never thought I would scroll down a webpage and hurt my brain, but that gif did it.
Don't you understand you annoy the hell out of people with that shit? It's not cute or funny after the 10th time you've seen it.
Can't you just use them on special occasions, or to make a point or something?
How about posting what album you are listening to? Like Tom Scata. It's so much more enjoyable.
We are all in the crazy ward. You don't have to make us any crazier. For the love of God, have mercy on your poor inmates!
Mr. Steady,

Big speakers and little amps blew my mind!
Now THAT'S disgusting!
This is just a suggestion.
Personally, it doesn't bother me too much, since I'm using a 22" monitor, but 'some' others who might be using a tablet, seem to have problems.
My C. vs. P. .gif seems to be of a much smaller size than yours.
Anyhow...
Chris
The more someone says something the more cats he will post... smh
space capsule.
No pow-pow-pow kittens do I recall. :-(
But fear not, unlike the person you mention in your thread, I am not going anywhere. Why? Because I do not engage in name calling and further, my comments were indeed on topic as they applied the post that I replied to.
