Optrix and a soft towel. Read about it at mapleshade and on this forum. I've used this for many years and it works as advertised.
Follow Ups:
As I mention in my earlier post, Optrix can react with some discs so as to cause a clouding of the reflective surface. This problem affected a large proportion of the discs that I had treated with Optrix. It is not possible to remove the clouding by normal washing methods. However Optrix themselves were very helpful and sent me a phial of octyl alcohol to remove the Optrix and the clouding. BTW this was the worst smelling compound I have come across.
The octyl alcohol needs to be applied very generously and its oily nature means it requires a lot of subseqent rinsing off.
Anyway you seem to have been lucky but I think it worthwhile to point out this potential drawback.
Never had it happen in ten years or so.
