Yeah, that one looks really similar except for the dimensions of the player and the number of access panels on the top.
It's all a mystery. When you Google MHZS, you get the products, but nothing on the company. I have no idea who makes it. That's what makes this whole thing kind of a fun experiment.
The player arrived at the Phoenix FedEx center early this morning. I live up the hill in Flagstaff, so I should see it shortly.

Interesting.
Based on your research via Google, what made you purchase this CDP vs a Yaqin?
FWIW, it looks good.

Hi Dynobot,
It was several things:
1) Looks
2) 4 tubes vs 2
3) Main tubes are 12AX7 of which I have a good supply of good ones
4) Optical and Coax outputs if I need them in the future
5) I couldn't figure out the difference between the Yaqin 33 and 35 models aside from the transport closure
Sounds good to me.
More tubes should = more tubey flavor
Apparently Lampizator had some very good things to say about the CDP, lots of good Audiophile-grade features.
Enjoy!!

...I was about to purchase a Bada HD-26 CD player from China Hi-fi audio and also contacted Bada's dealer in Holland. He told me that Bada and MHZS CD players are manufactured by the same plant (though sound different)...
