I have an Oppo 103 used primarily for video duty, but moved to a server based solution for playing music across multiple systems (via a single digital library) a couple of years ago. I cannot imagine having to return to retrieving and putting away shiny disks every time I play music.
Get a streamer and rip your CDs.

Yes rip your cd's get a nice DAC, a laptop and a tablette and here you go, in my case the sound is much superior to my Sony 5400 ES VSE

Curious, do you feel the same way with those shiny black disks on a turntable?
Largely, yes. But then there is no alternative for achieving the same audio quality.
While I maintain two turntables, I find myself playing either rather infrequently.
