Very small and very good sounding as a cd player. This is discontinued but it may still be manufactured in a somewhat upgraded model. I looked but couldn't fine the actual manufacturer. It's out there though. Tweaker

entry level Sony DVD player has 24 bit dac with 196KHz sample rate had digital out is a fine transport and a fine CD player cost you $30 bucks. get one at walmart and try it if you don't like it get your money back.

You didn't specify the digital output you wish to use, however, the Bel Canto CD3t is interesting because it provides digital outputs on a balanced XLR connector, and on a 75 ohm unbalanced BNC connector.
