Hi and thank you very much for your valuable advice
If a concept is sound in the end it will win, hopefully.
I have only a feeling that analog filters "could" be better than digital ones from a music perspective.
Let's see. I can wait.
This extremely interesting dac is unfortunately out of my budget.
I have rent first ... argh ...
Thanks again.
Kind regards,
bg

Thanks,
Yes, - it's pretty expensive, - but, - if one is going to get their level of all of their recordings raised: then it LIKELY becomes more worth it.
I am not so much a classical music fan. And, I mention cause the highest value of SACD was in that genre. Maybe I am unusual, but for every 1000 redbook CDs, - there are about 50 SACDs that are "worthwile," and half as many that I regard as being "great" and want to play a lot...
Of course, as Abe says, recording varies in any format.
So if upconversion to DSD makes EVERY recording sound better, - this DAC, or these types of DACs, will be big winners.
Lastly, as of yet, no one is really selling DSD files of any significance that can be trusted, is reasonably priced, or is of the content that people want, and/or not on SACD. I would never download a DSD file without already having trusted software tools in place to FIRST determine if it was in fact, hi-rez.
Cheers Beppe

Hi and thanks a lot again for the very helpful advice.
I understand perfectly that high quality cannot come cheap (like for any other goods).
I am just looking for nice sound like the one that even a used decent turntable can give.
I guess we will see other reviews of this unit soon.
Thanks a lot again.
Kind regards,

Check it....

Hi and thanks a lot for the very interesting link.
I remember very well to have read great things of Alex Peychev in the past and his upgrades of commercial unit like Denon dvd player.
I have to read this very carefully.
Thanks again.
And have a nice day.
Kind regards,
