Did anyone get to hear this DAC at the recent CanJam? Have to say the design, with significant attention paid to the filter and power supply, has my attention way more than any DSD or Sabre DAC will. Just wish it had I2S.
Darko has some comments but wonder if anyone knows any more yet?

...for months. I actually thought they had given up on it. Glad to hear it's finally coming to fruition. Hope the sound and price are worth the wait!

I'm all for not rushing items to market.
My sense is that there is some more market segmentation going on in digital audio, beyond the recent USB/computer audio trend. There are folk like me who's interest in computer audio is not huge - but certainly not anti-thetical. But we like the DACs we've got and are motivated to buy new content (or technology) to enjoy our existing collections more, rather than attempt to discombobulate and reformulate it through DSD or other decoding schemes. We're not necessarily swayed by Sabre platforms either.
We're driven by the collections we have (which can be quite large) and are not easily swayed by new bitrates - DSD does not drive change in our world, as our understanding of DSD delivery is that it is still mediated by PCM along the way. We know the importance of filters (or their absence), power supplies, upsampling or not, oversampling or not, I2S or not, decent USB implementation, and so on.
In that regard, a slower lane of 'considered development' seems to be emerging, with DACs that can accommodate certain higher bitrates, or mature oversampling workflows that assuredly and confidently make all our music sound better (our existing collections and not just 'cloud music').
Or not?
