Are they even released yet ?
I've yet to see anyone (other than reviewers) make any posting on having
one, on this website or others.
The thing that I've noticed is that Auralic is making more references to what the "Aries" is or does in it's recent marketing ads so their concern
about that might be holding them back from releasing it.
(It could be they can't decide what features they want to include in the initial release or some last minute production problems)
So Auralic..... "What's the plan, Stan?" (I wish I could translate that to Chinese)

Of course it wasn't playing........
From the person running the room......
paraphrasing: it's designed to work with the Aurilac DAC.
it doesn't do internet radio.
you cannot defeat the LCD screen.
To me, - it seemed sort of cheap and plastic-y. I wish that they would've played it.

It is very possible that Auralic has been off more than they can chew here.
Yep.....
Getting hard to reserve judgment based on what I've seen so far. I do believe that it's good to keep an open mind. But the little bits of evidence are a gathering & piling up.
FWIW, (in my case), I'm not ready to buy yet anyway.
On the other hand, as disgusted as I am with my Mac Mini, - I am looking forward to it's departure from the audio rack this fall/winter.

A Mac Mini is an excellent music management piece of hardware..for ripping etc...even great as a NAS..with drives attached, as is how I use it.
For SOTA music playback...NO.
I'm not too concerned with whether the Auralic comes to pass or not anymore..the fellow who builds the Sonore stuff uses many of the same parts and he does not deal in vaporware. Very, very close to pulling the trigger.
Thanks...
Can't wait to hear your impressions when/if it comes to pass.
