"Can I safely with a coaxial Y adaptor take the coax output of my Audio Note transport and feed two separate dacs so I can easily AB them?"
You can feed them safely (won't harm anything), but unlike a single feed, neither the transport nor the DACs will see the proper 75-ohm characteristic impedance.... The impedance mismatch would introduce signal "reflections".... The sound would likely be compromised (in the form of jitter) from both DACs in such a setup.

Thanks Todd. That's what I thought. The transport will be seeing to 75 ohm loads in parallel thus seeing 37.5 ohms causing reflections
Alan
the thing to do is make a switch which even well built with expensive parts will have some loss but preserve the proper load. Add also the need for a third cable.
