I posted this in cables but I thought I'd put it out here as well.
I'm not a big 'cables make a big difference' kinda guy.
I recently replaced my two digital cables with $59 Cullen cables and am pretty amazed at how good they sound.
Check it out.

... if there was, they would surely swim in money, just getting a nickel every time someone cheap, deaf and dumb mentions his name in a web forum, that's supposed to be a place for audiophiles.
mbnx01 made a nice and worthwhile post about an interesting product. There's no need to belittle anyone, but this time is especially unfortunate, because it stems from an ignorance and unfamiliarity with the reality of the situation -- namely that digital cables make a difference.
The engineering reasons for the sonic differences are well understood and detailed at this point. If you had bothered to look into it, you would find that there are solid technical reasons for the differences, even if you don't happen to hear any difference yourself, in your system.
I am reminded of a dinner I had with a good friend and his father -- both Ph.D. electrical engineers. This dinner took place in the early 90s. I told them that I was hearing differences in digital cables to my DAC. They both informed me that there could no differences between digital cables. I appreciated where they were coming from and didn't bother to argue it with them. In the years to come, much more has been learned about making the digits sound like music.

That may be so, but I've yet to see it. Do you have a reference?

At that price it's certainly worth an "experiment". Just pondering if it's worth going with the 1.5 meter version as I've always heard (but never proved with my own ear) it's a more optimum length for a digital cable. On another note regarding Cullen, I ordered his Crossover power cord just a few days ago. Anxious to see what it brings to the table as well.
Got a very quick response from Patrick Cullen on the cable length issue. No sonic difference whatsoever between the 1M and 1.5M.
but will you sleep at night???
There has been quite a bit of discussion on the 1.0M Vs. 1.5M debate with a few "white papers" being written on the subject, if memory serves me right. I ordered the 1.5M version from Patrick - just in case - the cost differential was insignificant...
Yep....for an additional $6, I'd probably opt for the 1.5M as well. Currently breaking in Patrick's Crossover power cable. Sounds extremely promising so far.
How does your crossover model compare to the AC-9? Or have you compared? The AC-9 (unlike the AC-14) makes everything that I have used it on sound better, especially power amps.
I've only tried the Pangea AC 9 on my power amp once. Because it's only .5 M long and not very flexible, I'm limited as to where it gets used. The power amp and my REL sub are really the only logical/doable locations for its use. In its brief stay with my amp, I found it to be refined and polite. It didn't do anything wrong and was fairly even handed with a nice sense of control. On the other side of the coin, it didn't really excite either. This balance may be just the ticket for systems that tend to be a bit bright and need some smoothing out. I could see the AC 9 really at home in many ( but not all) solid state systems for instance.
In my system, which is all tube, the Cullen, MSA entry level and my DIY all silver cord with Oyaide connectors all put performers in the room more convincingly. These 3 bring more presence and transparency without sacrificing the warmth that the 9 brings to the table. Overall I'd rank the them ....DIY, Cullen, MSA and 9 in that order. Now it's only fair to point out that in a completely different system, the order could easily be reversed. All these cords have found a home somewhere either in my main or HT/casual set-up.... so there are really no losers. As always, it's just a matter of finding the right synergy for your system.
