I bought about two dozen box sets of Real Gone Jazz. With four CDs in each box.. Of those i have run into two so far which do not 'start' in my CD changer. they read the table of contents then just stall.
I am happy I can easily burn a copy using EAC and pop that into the player and it works fine.
Just sayin' I love the fact i can repair it in minutes.. And not have to send the box set back for a replacement.
:)

Can EAC actually burn a CD-R or do you use EAC to rip the CD to your hard drive and then use a different program to burn the CD-R. If so, what other program do you use to burn the CD-R?
Thanks,
John Elison
The quick EAC way is to click on 'image' and the program copies the entire CD. All I have to do is title and name (so I can find it)
Then for burn one click find image file and burn.
Or I can go in different menu which creates a 'cue sheet' as a separate entity.
Say I wanted to cut out a song... Then when i burn I call up just the cue sheet annd that brings up the files in the program. I can burn the whole list or part (with a little fooling around).
When I stick a CD-R into the drive Windows calls up Microsoft's burner program but I just turn that back off and use EAC.
