I live in Hong Kong ) bought one (Joan Baez) and it is very good.I think the prices of some of these are being jacked up based on the limited edition factor. I can buy most of them here for under $20US including tax (since there is no tax here).
Obviously they get enough people paying $40 a disc for them or they'd lower the price.
As an aside if you want a really nice jazz/blues disc for music and excellent recording quality I would recommend the High Endition label and Vol 15 in particular. I paid about $180HKD for it so it may be idiotic in the States.

Do you have an online source for your K2s? The few I have always sounded very pleasing to me.

Sorry - I'm old school - I go tot he B&M. What I do like about Hong Kong is the ready access to classical/Jazz music shops - indeed, some are dedicated almost solely to Classical and Jazz. Vinyl/SACD/all the crazy import CDs. One company puts out these dynamic discs with warnings that they'll blow poor systems up because they're not "frequency or dynamically limited" or whatever.
When I get some time I might take a bunch of photos of the shops around Hong Kong and do a small article about audiophile life here. Dealer show rooms, etc.
