Counting opamps - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 - TEN opamps means 5 per channel in a series and this shit feeds the triode ... well ....
lets see - this is not amplifying triode, no SRPP, no MU follower - this tube is a CATHODE BUFFER to color the sound of op-amped shit. This is SHIT SQUARED.

His site is excellent if you want to buy a second hand transport and don't want to pay huge premiums for brand names when the exact same transport is in far less costly machines. I enjoy his site - it's definitely a fun read and quite informative.
And it should be noted he doesn't just rip Chinese gear but also mainstream British and American brands - I am sure if he saw some of the better Chinese makes (and perhaps he has) he would be impressed.
That description sounds just like me! I do like his site. Some of the more technical aspects are a bit beyond me, but there is plenty I get. I was a little surprised to see that he like both the NAD 541 and 521i CD players. Actually, I wasn't too surprised since I like my NAD 542, even if my fellow inmates have been underwhelmed when I have posted about it. There is some inexpensive stuff that he thinks quite highly of and some expensive stuff he savages. For me he is always an interesting read!

Yup. Op amps hated by late Alan Wright. A cheap way to deal with circuit design issues (keeps pricing in line for usual 5-6X markups) and even some $expensive components use 'em. I'll pass.

What can this Polish guy, who has a lot of experience with all kinds of gear, hear that all those can't, who post idiotic rants about how bad YG Acoustics speakers sound?The show conditions put every manufacturer at the same disadvantage. Is it the system matching? Or people are just offended by the price tag, and only hear their own bitterness?
The only time I heard YG speakers - the least expensive 2-way Carmel I believe - they sounded VERY good, using both Plinius and PBN/Sierra amps they were demoed with by the dealer.
