Home Theater just reported this apparent merger. Both Stereophile & TAS put a recent full court press on multi-year subscription upgrades. If I paid for a three year upgrade with one magazine and a two year with the other am I going to get screwed and only get three years with the new combo magazine.I should have known this was coming. I got screwed multiple times when other HI-FI mag's offered "deals" on multi-year renewals and either went out of business or offered things like hunting magazines as my option. Sound and Vision, I didn't have any interest in the vision portion, was the latest fiasco for me.

Damn, now a subscription will be $26,000 a year. At least it's affordable.
.
What a coincidence. Another instance of bitter rivals joining forces! What is the world coming to?

And one poster wondered why I included APRIL FOOLS! at the end of the article...sheesh...
You remember what happened to Orson Wells.
Perhaps a late April Fool's joke or the not so good old days?
Also twice in the past few weeks I have gotten warnings from Time Warner about cyber attacks on this site when opening a post. I tried to get a screen grab today but could not because my computer instantly locked up and all I could do was shut it down.
And yes, everything is working fine now. But I know being directed to Pizza Hut was something that was done in the past intentionally to certain inmates. Anyone else remember?

I didn't even post a link. What steered you to Pizza Hut, simply opening my post?

Simply opening your post. I did not click on a link.

But meanwhile, I'd be scanning my computer for malware.
I use a free program, Malwarebytes, supposedly ranked very highly. Link below.
Between Malwarebytes, and Ghostery (an ad blocker which I saw recommended here on the Asylum) I haven't had any issues.
Good luck.
I am currently using both Malwarebytes and Avast. Avast was recommended by a friend who makes a living doing this sort of thing. After my ordeal with the ransomware virus last year, I'm doing my best to keep my computer protected. Time Warner blocked AA twice which was a first for them and makes me wonder what's going on.

I uncovered a past ( December 1993) issue of Stereophile and who had written a letter to the editor? None other than Sue Kraft...interesting.
I can recall writing to Stereophile but no longer remember what it was about. I hope I was nice :-)

I use Avast too, and I've never had a bit of a problem with the Asylum.
If it continues, and Rod doesn't see your dilemma here, I've posted a link to the Asylum Support page below. You could post the issue there, and he'll give you an answer if he can.
Good luck, and be safe.
