But now you're talking individuals, not genres.
Bach is my favorite composer, and as an artist I would rate him above any of my favorite rock musicians.
But I still think that classical music, especially baroque, is a more narrowly constrained art form than jazz or rock. The wide variety of different instruments, sounds, styles, etc. makes rock a deeper medium in my opinion.
